Who is matthew?

My name’s Matthew and I am a curious problem solver who’s mission is to make folks smile. Whether I accomplish that through dry humor, empathetic connection, or by accommodating an unmet need, I take pride in my ability to make people feel better.

With a background in human-centered design, I believe all people have the potential to achieve greatness with the right tools. For me, those tools come from the tenants of design thinking: empathizing with the needs of users, ideating a multitude of solutions, and finding the best fit based on testing and user feedback.

Creating something from the abstract is nothing short of magic to me. I have trained to employ a variety of fabrication methods to create thoughtful solutions to life’s problems, including 3D printing, injection molding, and CNC milling.

I believe strongly in the power of play. When not working, I enjoy hiking, cooking, dancing, and Dungeons & Dragons, and playing with my cat, Mr. Peanut Butter. Making space for the inner child is the best way to empower creativity and self-expression!
